What we do

Accessibility Audits & Remediation

End-to-end WCAG conformance — from multi-engine audits through code-level fixes, verification, and progress tracking.

We do not just find problems — we fix them. A headless browser runs against every URL in your manifest and cross-checks with multiple accessibility engines. Each finding normalizes into a tracker row with WCAG criterion, severity, plain-language guidance, ownership, and annotated screenshots. From there, findings triage into a remediation backlog and our team implements fixes as focused pull requests, re-verifying each change against the audit baseline until issues are resolved. Run-over-run diffs show what is fixed, what is new, and what still needs attention.

Deliverables

  • Phase 1 audit report with grouped findings and executive summary
  • Flat findings export (CSV and JSONL) for engineering triage
  • Annotated screenshots with element-level and viewport context
  • WCAG-mapped rows with severity scores and suggested fixes
  • Dev remediation backlog ranked by severity and effort
  • Focused pull requests with clear scope per finding cluster
  • Re-verification against the audit baseline after each merge
  • Phase 3 delta report comparing before and after runs
  • Optional Notion tracker upload for collaborative remediation

What we cover

  • axe-core, Pa11y, and Lighthouse cross-checks
  • Custom contrast sampling for layered backgrounds and gradients
  • Keyboard, focus-order, and overflow sweeps on critical flows
  • 200% zoom, 320px reflow, and text-spacing WCAG passes
  • Video caption and iframe player validation
  • Static accessibility lint against your component codebase
  • Triage by design vs. dev ownership
  • Code-level fixes in Vue, React, and modern web stacks
  • Regression checks and run-over-run progress reporting

Methodology

The four-stage loop

Audit and remediation share one pipeline. Each stage produces artifacts the next consumes, and any stage can rerun independently when you are iterating on fixes.

  • 01 — Scan

A headless browser visits each URL in your manifest and runs multiple accessibility engines. Raw output lands in structured artifacts — scanner JSON, screenshots, and inventories — ready for normalization.

  • 02 — Normalize & report

Findings from every engine merge into one flat list with WCAG criterion, severity, plain-language copy, ownership, and priority scores. Reports render as Markdown, HTML snapshots, and tracker-ready payloads.

  • 03 — Triage & fix

Findings filter into a dev remediation backlog. Our team implements fixes as focused pull requests and re-verifies each change against the audit baseline.

  • 04 — Track progress

Run-over-run diffs show what is resolved, what is new, and what regressed — so your team always knows where compliance stands and stakeholders get clear progress updates.

Coverage

Nine scan engines

No single scanner catches everything. Running multiple engines together gives cross-checked coverage that holds up under scrutiny.

  • axe-core

Primary automated signal with element and viewport screenshot capture.

  • Pa11y

Cross-check against axe using the HTML_CodeSniffer rule set.

  • Lighthouse

Google accessibility audits for supporting context and trend tracking.

  • Contrast sampler

Catches layered-background and gradient cases off-the-shelf engines miss.

  • Evidence sweep

Focus order, keyboard reachability, overflow, tooltips, and live regions on critical routes.

  • Behavior checks

Modal focus management and form error announcement on primary user flows.

  • Viewport variants

200% zoom, 320px reflow, and text-spacing passes per URL.

  • Video & captions

Native video track validation and iframe player accessible-name checks.

  • Static lint

Component-level accessibility lint against your frontend codebase.

Workflow

From finding to verified fix

Remediation is a repeatable loop — not a one-time cleanup. Each fix is scoped, shipped, and verified against the audit baseline.

  • Triage

Findings filter by severity, page criticality, and design vs. dev ownership into a ranked remediation backlog.

  • Implement

Fixes land as focused pull requests with clear scope — one cluster of related violations at a time.

  • Verify

The audit harness re-runs against the same URLs. Each merge is checked against the baseline before the row closes.

  • Report

Phase 3 delta reports show resolved, new, and regressing issues so stakeholders always know where compliance stands.
