The challenge
The product needed to serve both direct consumers and affiliate partners, with secure authentication, recurring subscriptions, credit bureau integrations, and admin tooling for affiliate managers — all while staying maintainable as features and compliance requirements evolved.
Our approach
We architected and built the platform as a long-term product partnership: Next.js application with PostgreSQL persistence, affiliate and agent management, Array API integration for credit data, welcome and transactional email flows, and a Turborepo monorepo structure separating the app, shared UI, email templates, and Playwright end-to-end tests. Product and engineering decisions stayed tied to measurable business outcomes rather than one-off feature drops.
